Tiny Talk Tuesday

These are the Tiny Talks of my 3 1/2-year-old “big” girl, Bella.  For more Tiny Talks, head over to Mary’s at Not Before 7

Bella prayed for her sick friend during her lunch time prayer the other day…

Bella: “God, please, take over her body…and take her body away.”

Uh…hmm…if she was trying to repeat what I said last night, I think she meant to say, “watch over her body” and “take her cold away.” But I’m just guessing. *^^*

This morning, I think Daddy was trying to teach Bella some Korean words (note: Korean is my native language which I’ve failed to teach my child so far and it is indeed quite sad to see my American hubby trying to teach his daughter the language that he hardly speaks. *^^*)

Daddy: “What’s milk in Korean, Bella?”

Bella: “Leche!” (Her BFF is learning Spanish and Bella speaks quite a few words in Spanish as well)

Daddy: “No, not in Spanish. In Korean, what Halmoni (grandma in Korean) speaks, remember? It’s Woo-you.”

Bella: “No! It’s leche!” (obviously she has nothing to do with Korean, thanks to her Mommy) “What’s juice in Spanish, Daddy?”

Daddy: “Uh…I don’t know, honey.”

Bella: “Well, you’d better remember that!”

So I guess Korean lesson didn’t go so well like Daddy intended? Poor guy….

Bella at her swim lesson yesterday morning…. Her swim coach was instructing Bella to kick, blow bubbles in the water and use her arms to reach and pull across the pool. Bella listened carefully and just before she went into the water, she turned to me and shouted,

Bella: “Mommy! Take a picture!!”

Can you tell she has an Asian as a mother? :-)
